Proxy types available in Russia
Here is what the Russia catalog holds today: the proxy types we sell, how many package options each has, the lowest per-IP price and the rental periods on offer. Nothing on this table is estimated, it is read from the same catalog the order form uses.
The cheapest option for Russia is Datacenter Proxy IPv6 at US$0.08 per IP for 3 days. Longer periods are usually cheaper per day, and most types let you rent a single IP, so you can start with one address and add more later.
You can combine types in the same account. A team might rent Datacenter Proxy IPv4 addresses for fast public-data work and add Datacenter Proxy IPv6 where a destination treats ISP-registered or less crowded addresses better.
| Proxy type | Package options | From (per IP) | Rental periods |
|---|---|---|---|
| Datacenter Proxy IPv4 | 13 | US$0.70 | 1 week to 12 months |
| Datacenter Proxy IPv4 Shared | 5 | US$0.20 | 1 week to 3 months |
| Datacenter Proxy IPv6 | 6 | US$0.08 | 3 days to 3 months |

How country targeting works
ProxyOnly sells proxies by country. When you rent an IP you pick the country, the proxy type and the rental period, and every request you send through that proxy leaves from an address registered in that country. Gateway users can also add a country code to the username, for example username-country-ru, to choose the exit per request.
We do not promise a city, a ZIP code or a specific ISP for countries outside the United States, because the suppliers behind those countries sell by country. If a project needs a particular city, test the address with the proxy tester first and talk to us before you rent a large batch.
What a proxy for Russia is used for
People look for a Russia proxy for practical reasons, almost all of them about seeing a public website the way a local visitor sees it. These are the jobs we hear about most.
App store and content availability. App stores, software downloads and media catalogues differ by country. A Russia address lets you check whether an app is listed for Russia, which price and currency the store shows, and whether a public download or landing page is available there. It is a read-only check: you still need to follow the terms of the service you are testing.
Brand and reputation monitoring. Brand teams watch how a name appears on public pages in Russia: local news sites, regional marketplaces, comparison pages and review sites. A Russia exit makes sure the pages you review are the ones local visitors get, in Russian, Tatar, Kalmyk and Adyghe, rather than a version redirected for your own location.
Ad and landing page verification. Ads, offers and landing pages often change by country. With an exit in Russia a media buyer can see what a visitor in Russia would see: the language (Russian, Tatar, Kalmyk and Adyghe), the price in Ruble (RUB), the local promotions and the pages that are blocked or redirected for other countries. That is the quickest way to catch a broken geo-targeting rule before it burns budget.
Price and availability monitoring. Retailers, marketplaces and travel sites show different prices to different countries, and the difference is often visible only from a local address. Checking public prices from Russia lets you compare what shoppers in Russia are charged in Ruble (RUB), whether an item ships there, and how delivery promises differ from your home market.
Local search and SEO checks. Search results are personalised by country. To audit rankings for Russia, load the public results from a Russia address, compare what appears for .ru domains and local-language queries, and check that hreflang, local business listings and country pages do what they should. A clean address with no logged-in history gives you a fair baseline.
Which proxy type fits Russia
Pick the proxy type from the job rather than the price. Here is how the types we sell compare, so you can match one to your work in Russia:
Datacenter IPv4. The default choice for most jobs. These are dedicated IPv4 addresses hosted in a datacenter, fast and inexpensive, and the best fit for high-volume reading of public pages, monitoring and automation. Some websites treat datacenter ranges more cautiously than consumer connections, so test your target before you commit to a long rental.
ISP proxies. Static addresses that are registered to an internet service provider rather than a hosting company. They keep the speed of datacenter hardware and look more like an ordinary home or office connection, which helps with destinations that are strict about hosting ranges. They are not in the current catalog for this country.
Shared IPv4. A shared address is used by more than one customer and costs less. It suits light tasks, quick checks and testing where a clean, exclusive address is not essential. Shared IPv4 is in stock for this country.
IPv6. IPv6 addresses are very cheap and plentiful, and they work well with destinations that serve IPv6 traffic, such as many large search, video and social platforms. Many smaller sites are still IPv4 only, so check that your target supports IPv6 before you buy. IPv6 is in stock for this country.
Mobile proxies. Addresses from mobile carrier networks. Many phones share the same carrier address, so websites tend to be tolerant of this traffic, which makes mobile proxies the right choice for testing mobile ads, apps and landing pages. They cost more than datacenter addresses.
Residential proxies. Addresses from home internet connections, billed by the amount of traffic you use and not by the IP. They suit light, bursty jobs on sites that block datacenter and ISP ranges. Heavy traffic gets expensive quickly, so estimate your monthly volume first.
If you are unsure, rent one address of the type you think you need, run your real task against it for a day, and look at the success rate. Because rental periods start at a few days, trying a type costs very little.

Using proxies responsibly in Russia
A proxy is a networking tool and it is lawful in most places, but what you do with it still has to be lawful and fair. Follow the laws that apply to you and to the place you send traffic to, read the terms of the sites you visit, honour robots rules and rate limits, and never use an address to access accounts or data that are not yours. ProxyOnly cannot give legal advice, and our acceptable use policy applies to every order.
In practice that means reading public pages, checking your own sites and ads, and testing your own products. If a task would be unwelcome to the site owner when done by hand, it is unwelcome when done through a proxy too.

Frequently asked questions
Can I buy a proxy in Russia?
Yes, you can rent Russia proxies from ProxyOnly. We currently list 3 proxy types for Russia: Datacenter Proxy IPv4, Datacenter Proxy IPv4 Shared, Datacenter Proxy IPv6.
How much does a Russia proxy cost?
Prices for Russia start at US$0.08 per IP for 3 days. The final price depends on the type, the number of IPs and the rental period, and longer periods work out cheaper per day. The order page shows the exact total before you pay.
Which proxy type should I use for Russia?
For most public-data work Datacenter Proxy IPv4 is the practical default. If the site you are testing is strict about hosting ranges, try an ISP proxy instead. Rent one address first and check your success rate before you scale up.
Can I choose a city in Russia?
We sell by country, so the address is registered in Russia. Whether it resolves to Russia depends on how the supplier registered it and on the geolocation database you check, so we do not guarantee a city. Rent one IP, test it, and ask us if you need city-level accuracy.
How do I check that my proxy really shows Russia?
Use the proxy tester on the ProxyOnly home page: it connects through your proxy and reports the exit IP, the country and the latency. You can also open any public IP lookup page through the proxy and compare the country with RU.
Which languages and currency will sites show in Russia?
Expect Russian, Tatar, Kalmyk and Adyghe and prices in Ruble (RUB). Many sites also offer English, but the default usually follows the country, which is exactly what a Russia proxy lets you verify.
How do I pay and how fast is delivery?
You add funds to your balance in cryptocurrency, starting from one US dollar, and pay for each order from that balance. Orders are delivered to your dashboard with the host, port, username and password. Delivery time depends on the supplier for the type you choose.
Is it legal to use a proxy in Russia?
Proxies are legal networking tools in most countries, but your use of one has to follow the law and the terms of the sites you visit. We do not give legal advice and our acceptable use policy applies to every order. If you are unsure about your use case, check with a lawyer who knows the rules where you work.
