Viettel proxies
Viettel is a mobile network operator in Vietnam. People who search for a Viettel proxy usually want an IP address that sits in a consumer or carrier network and not in a hosting company's range, so that public websites treat the request like an ordinary subscriber. This page explains what that means, what ProxyOnly can supply for Vietnam, and how to check an address before you rely on it.

What is a Viettel proxy?
Every public IP address belongs to a network, and every network has an autonomous system number (ASN). When a website looks up your address it sees the ASN and the organisation behind it. For Viettel that is AS7552. A Viettel proxy is a proxy whose exit address belongs to that network, so the website sees a Viettel address and not a hosting company.
Mobile operators commonly place many subscribers behind shared addresses (carrier-grade NAT), so one public address can represent a lot of phones at once. Websites tend to be tolerant of traffic from these ranges because blocking one address would affect many real users.
Mobile networks are the most sensitive to location and device type, which is why teams that test mobile ads, apps and landing pages want addresses that belong to a mobile carrier.
In practice most buyers do not need one particular operator. They need an address that is registered in the right country and looks like consumer or carrier traffic. That is the reason ISP proxies exist: they sit on hardware in a datacenter but use addresses registered to an internet service provider. The distinction matters because some websites treat hosting ranges more strictly than consumer ranges.
Viettel ASN numbers
The table lists the main autonomous system numbers we associate with Viettel. Large operators announce several ASNs and acquire or reassign them over time, so use the list as a starting point and confirm with a public registry such as RIPEstat, ARIN or bgp.he.net before you depend on a number.
| ASN | Operator | Country | Network type |
|---|---|---|---|
| AS7552 | Viettel | Vietnam | mobile network operator |
Closest countries we stock to Vietnam
We do not list Vietnam proxies in our live catalog at the moment, and we would rather say that plainly than sell an address we cannot supply. If you need Vietnam specifically, contact us with the proxy type and quantity and we will check with our suppliers and tell you whether we can add it.
The table lists the nearest countries with live stock, ordered by distance from Vietnam. For many tasks a neighbouring country is close enough: network latency from there is low, and content that is regional rather than strictly national usually looks the same. For tests that must show Vietnam itself, ask us to source it first.
| Country | Cheapest type | From (per IP) | Distance from here |
|---|---|---|---|
| China | Datacenter Proxy IPv4 | US$0.70 | Shares a border |
| Thailand | Datacenter Proxy IPv4 | US$0.70 | About 650 km |
| Hong Kong | Datacenter Proxy IPv4 | US$0.70 | About 1,150 km |
| Malaysia | Datacenter Proxy IPv4 | US$0.70 | About 1,350 km |
| Singapore | Datacenter Proxy IPv6 | US$0.08 | About 1,550 km |
Can I choose Viettel exactly?
ProxyOnly sells proxies by country, not by operator. That means you can rent Vietnam addresses, including ISP proxies where they are in stock, but we do not promise that an address belongs to Viettel in particular. The suppliers behind Vietnam stock decide which ranges they hold.
If Viettel specifically matters, rent one address first, look up its ASN with a registry or lookup tool, and compare it with AS7552. If you need a guaranteed operator, contact us with your use case and we will tell you honestly whether we can supply it.
Why teams ask for Viettel addresses
Searches for Viettel proxies come from a handful of recurring needs. None of them require an address from one specific operator, but an address from a network like Viettel helps with all of them.
Matching real subscribers. A page that treats datacenter ranges differently from consumer or carrier ranges can only be checked fairly from an address that looks like a mobile network operator subscriber in Vietnam.
Local verification. Ads, prices, search results and app listings are often different for visitors in Vietnam. A Vietnam address registered to a well-known operator shows what a local customer of Viettel sees.
Stable identity. ISP proxies keep the same address for the rental period. That is helpful for tests that need a consistent address over days, such as checking a login flow you own or following a long support case.
Fewer surprises. Addresses from large, long-established operators are widely recognised by websites and databases, so their country and network labels are rarely wrong.
How to check that an address belongs to Viettel
Do not trust a label, check the address. After you receive a proxy, run it through the proxy tester on the ProxyOnly home page to see the exit IP and country. Then look the IP up in two different lookup tools and read the organisation and ASN fields.
- Copy the exit IP reported by the proxy tester.
- Look it up in a public ASN or IP lookup tool and note the ASN and organisation.
- Compare the ASN with AS7552 for Viettel.
- Check a second lookup tool, because geolocation and organisation data are not identical across databases.
- Repeat with a second address if the first does not match what you need.
What a proxy for Vietnam is used for
People look for a Vietnam proxy for practical reasons, almost all of them about seeing a public website the way a local visitor sees it. These are the jobs we hear about most.
Ad and landing page verification. Ads, offers and landing pages often change by country. With an exit in Vietnam a media buyer can see what a visitor in Vietnam would see: the language (Vietnamese, English, French and Chinese), the price in Dong (VND), the local promotions and the pages that are blocked or redirected for other countries. That is the quickest way to catch a broken geo-targeting rule before it burns budget.
Price and availability monitoring. Retailers, marketplaces and travel sites show different prices to different countries, and the difference is often visible only from a local address. Checking public prices from Vietnam lets you compare what shoppers in Vietnam are charged in Dong (VND), whether an item ships there, and how delivery promises differ from your home market.
Local search and SEO checks. Search results are personalised by country. To audit rankings for Vietnam, load the public results from a Vietnam address, compare what appears for .vn domains and local-language queries, and check that hreflang, local business listings and country pages do what they should. A clean address with no logged-in history gives you a fair baseline.
Localization and QA testing. Product teams use a Vietnam exit to test what a customer in Vietnam actually experiences: the interface language, date and currency formats, the phone format (+84), cookie banners, payment options and any features switched on or off by country. Sticky sessions keep one address while a tester writes up a bug.
Market research on public data. Researchers read public pages the way a local visitor would: listings, directories, public review pages and government or company sites that vary by country. Using a Vietnam exit shows the version of the page meant for Vietnam. Collect only what you are allowed to collect, respect robots rules and rate limits, and keep your own notes in your own tools.

- Run the proxy tester to confirm the exit IP and country before your real job starts.
curl --proxy http://username-country-vn:[email protected]:8000 https://example.comUsing proxies responsibly in Vietnam
A proxy is a networking tool and it is lawful in most places, but what you do with it still has to be lawful and fair. Follow the laws that apply to you and to the place you send traffic to, read the terms of the sites you visit, honour robots rules and rate limits, and never use an address to access accounts or data that are not yours. ProxyOnly cannot give legal advice, and our acceptable use policy applies to every order.
In practice that means reading public pages, checking your own sites and ads, and testing your own products. If a task would be unwelcome to the site owner when done by hand, it is unwelcome when done through a proxy too.

Frequently asked questions
What is the ASN of Viettel?
The main autonomous system number we associate with Viettel is AS7552. Large operators announce several ASNs and change them over time, so confirm with a public registry before you rely on one.
Do you sell Viettel proxies?
We sell Vietnam proxies by country and do not guarantee a specific operator. ISP proxies are not in the current catalog for this country.
What is the difference between an ISP proxy and a datacenter proxy?
A datacenter proxy uses an address registered to a hosting company. An ISP proxy runs on datacenter hardware but uses an address registered to an internet service provider, so it looks more like consumer traffic. ISP proxies cost more and suit sites that are strict about hosting ranges.
Can I buy a proxy in Vietnam?
Vietnam is not in our live catalog right now. Contact us with the proxy type and quantity you need and we will check with our suppliers. The closest countries we do stock are China, Thailand, Hong Kong.
How much does a Vietnam proxy cost?
There is no Vietnam price yet because we do not list it. For reference, the nearest country we stock, China, starts at US$0.70 per IP for 7 days.
Which proxy type should I use for Vietnam?
Datacenter IPv4 is the usual starting point and ISP proxies are the step up when a site is strict about hosting ranges. Since Vietnam is not in stock, pick the type once we confirm what we can source.
Can I choose a city in Vietnam?
We sell by country, so the address is registered in Vietnam. Whether it resolves to Vietnam depends on how the supplier registered it and on the geolocation database you check, so we do not guarantee a city. Rent one IP, test it, and ask us if you need city-level accuracy.
How do I check that my proxy really shows Vietnam?
Use the proxy tester on the ProxyOnly home page: it connects through your proxy and reports the exit IP, the country and the latency. You can also open any public IP lookup page through the proxy and compare the country with VN.
How do I pay and how fast is delivery?
You add funds to your balance in cryptocurrency, starting from one US dollar, and pay for each order from that balance. Orders are delivered to your dashboard with the host, port, username and password. Delivery time depends on the supplier for the type you choose.
